Taipei Foreign Entrepreneur Service Center Event

As a foreign entrepreneur in Taipei, have you ever run into problems with banks not allowing you to apply for a credit card or a loan? Maybe a telecom asked you provide a local guarantor? Have you ever been denied a service because the company could not enter your ARC number in their computers?

The Taipei City Department of Economic Development (DOED) wants to better understand the challenges of foreign entrepreneurs so they can help make the business environment better. Please join our January 28th, 2016 event to share and learn, co-organized by DOED and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan. There is also a workshop where you can learn about how to apply for Taipei City business subsidies (up to 5 million). The government advisers will go through an application in detail.

Most importantly, come and share your experience running a business in Taipei with the government. The only way to affect change is to make the decision makers and administrators know where things are lacking.
Whether you attend this event or not, you can have your say about being a foreign business owner by taking our survey. Please help spread the news about this event and the survey to all foreign entrepreneurs!
