The Canadian Chamber of Commerce was honoured to host An Evening of Wine and Opera on Thursday May 7th, 2015at the Oriental Peony at Hess International in Taipei.
The evening began with a talk given by Howard Dyck, the Artistic Director Emeritus of the Grand Philharmonic Choir in Kitchener Ontario, the Conductor Emeritus of the Bach Elgar Choir in Hamilton Ontario, and the conductor of the Nota Bene Baroque Players and Singers. The audience was privileged to hear an insider’s take on the world of opera.
Following the talk, stories were exchanged over food and drink. The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan was pleased to be able to offer its members and friends a chance to share their enjoyment of opera in a social environment.
